Marcin Seweryn Andrzejewski (1977) – He comes from Drezdenko, since 1993 he has been a member of GTF, and since 2001 of ZPAF. He studied at the Department of Phototechnics of the Wrocław University of Technology, is a graduate of the Higher School of Photography in Jelenia Góra, together with Cezary Tymczuk he created the AT group in which they realized pinhole photography. Multiple participant of the Annual Photography Exhibitions and Photographic Confrontations (1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002, 2010). He was also a juror of the Annual Photography Exhibitions and Photographic Confrontations.He began his artistic career by taking staged photographs in which he contrasted the models with degraded and often post-industrial architecture. In these photographs, he often used negative montage and hand-dyed prints with Ecoline water paints. Subsequent fascinations and technical experiments concerned the technique of rubber and its various modifications. These interests were partly conditioned by the fact that he took his first artistic steps under the watchful eye of the great gumist Piotr Perczyński in the photographic section of the Municipal Cultural Center in Drezdenko. Later, under the influence of After meeting Andrzej Jerzy Lech, he started to practice pinhole and contact photography. Fascination with the latter was fostered by the contact established during the studies with the Lower Silesian milieu centered around Wojciech Zawadzki and Ewa Andrzejewska, outstanding representatives of the so-called pure photography (also referred to as elementary). Marcin Andrzejewski invariably appreciated the perfect technical workshop, he remained faithful to advanced traditional methods of photo processing. Currently, he mainly focuses on taking pictures of architecture with a large-format camera, captured during numerous travels.
